About the Author
Terry Dwyer was born and raised in Broken Hill. In 1973, he worked as a Sydney cab driver before travelling overland to Europe. Currently he works as a registered nurse/health centre manager in the remote regions of northern Australia. Terry is a frequent visitor to SE Asia, he is a keen diver and fisherman. He resides in rural Queensland with his wife, Vicki. The Trail is his only novel.

About the Author

Pushpak Bhattacharyya is Vijay and Sita Vashee chair professor of computer science and engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, where he has been teaching and researching for the last 25 years. He was educated at IIT Kharagpur (B.Tech), IIT Kanpur (M.Tech), and IIT Bombay (Ph.D). While earning his Ph.D, he was visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Subsequently, he has been visiting professor at Stanford University and University of Grenoble, and distinguished lecturer at the University of Houston. Dr. Bhattacharyya’s research interests include natural language processing, machine learning, machine translation, information extraction, sentiment analysis, and cross-lingual search, in which he has published extensively. Currently, he is associate editor of ACM Transactions on Asian Language Information Processing and vice president-elect of Association of Computational Linguistics (ACL).

About the Author
Began Freediving at age 17 (1976) in native Venezuela and progressed into scuba diving five years later. In 1988 became diving trainer for the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. He was a volunteer diver for Civil Defense (Venezuela) for underwater Search & Recovery emergencies. Eventually became Course Director (Instructor Trainer), the highest certification level in the scuba diving industry and the first Venezuelan-born ever to achieve such distinction. In 1998 became owner of Dixie Divers of Key Largo, Florida Keys. In 2000 partnered with legendary freediver "Pipin" Ferreras and became President of the International Association of Free Divers.
